The 7953 node was a team effort by KP4TR (Ramon) and WP3A (Jim), with suggestions and help from Chuo (KP4EOP) on April, 2012. It is located in the vicinity of Christiansted. The current node frequency is 147.525 Mhz simplex and CTCSS/PL tone is 71.9 Hz.
The hardware consistes of a General Electric MVS commercial radio (recommended by KP4EOP – Chuo). Computer is an Via Epia M10000 motherboard with 256MB of memory & 80GB drive, running CentOS 4.8 Linux.
We are also Echolink enabled, KP2B-L node 705874. 73!

Please post the following:220 Rag Chewers Net -Every Wednesday evnieng at 8:00 PM MST on the 224.480 Mhz repeater serving the greater Albuquerque area. This net is simply to encourage the use of the 220 band and to rag chew and have fun.
